Platform Security Features

• Encryption TLS 1.2 / TLS 1.3 – All data in transit between your team, your applicants, and the CBS platform is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or TLS 1.3 – current industry standards for secure web communication.
• Two-Factor Auth 2FA on all accounts – Administrative access is protected using secure authentication, including two-factor authentication where required, alongside role-based permissions. Applicants are sent a six-digit one-time passcode to their registered email address as part of the login process. The code expires after 15 minutes. This significantly reduces the risk of unauthorised access even if login credentials are compromised.
• Role-Based Access Permissions by user role – Role-based permissions help ensure only authorised users can access relevant applicant data – ensuring users only see and manage what’s relevant to their function. This limits exposure of sensitive applicant data to those who need it.
• Audit Logging Full activity log – Every action taken in the platform – from inviting an applicant to reviewing a result – is logged with a timestamp and user identifier. This supports compliance obligations and internal investigations if required.
• UK Data Centres Data stays in the UK – The new systems are hosted within professionally managed UK data centres, with network-level protections including firewalls, security monitoring and regular security updates.
